Who are we?
The Courage Center is a locally owned small business that offers a wide range of clinical services and community opportunities to folks in recovery from substance use disorders. We are a peer-run organization, dedicated to meeting every member of our community where they’re at in their lives and helping them to find the program of recovery that will work best for them. We operate our office like a community center, providing food, a big rec room, mailboxes, and occasional childcare for free to all of our participants. We take insurance, including MaineCare.

Medical Care for People With Substance Use Disorder (MAT+)
Recovery Housing at The Courage House (up the street)
