OPENING IN APRIL 2024 (Hopefully)

The Courage Center is a locally owned small business that will offer a wide range of clinical services and community opportunities to folks in recovery from substance use disorders. We are a peer-run organization, dedicated to meeting every member of our community where they’re at in their lives and helping them to find the program of recovery that will work best for them. We operate our office like a community center, providing food, laundry, mailboxes, a shower, a big rec room, and occasional childcare for free to all of our participants. We take insurance, including MaineCare.

• Driver Education and Evaluation Program (DEEP)

The Courage Center operates under the same ownership as The Courage House, a 24-bed transitional housing program, also located in Gorham, for men in recovery from substance use disorder and incarceration.
